巴哈馬菁英賽 恐創單輪打最少洞紀錄

首次舉辦的巴哈馬菁英賽因部分球洞仍泡在水中，賽程再度被迫縮水，將創下LPGA史上「單輪打最少洞」紀錄 。

巴哈馬群島當地時間周二下起近20年來最大暴雨，幾乎淹沒整座球場，大會周三被迫宣布比賽由72洞縮減為54洞。周四第9、15、16、17、18洞積水未退，經緊急會議後賽程再改。即周五至周日3天不打淹水與球道狀況不佳的球洞，每天各打13洞至15洞，但希望周日能打滿18洞。

以LPGA昨研議出「跳洞」比賽辦法，至少每天可打12洞，剛好達到最少打36洞才算完成正式比賽的規定。

隨著賽程再度縮水，LPGA同時決定比賽不設淘汰線，與賽選手都能參加隨後3天的比賽，惟排名前70的選手才可獲得獎金。美國女將路伊絲說：「大家都打同樣的球洞、球場，仍是一場高球賽。」

LPGA過去只在1989年Kemper公開賽出現1天打16洞，如果巴哈馬菁英賽超過2天單輪未打滿18洞，將是史上頭一遭，可能創史上「單輪打最少洞」紀錄。
