根據系統市佔統計，Android 4.1.x / 4.2.x Jelly Bean 雖然成長緩慢，不過市佔終於超過 Andoird 4.0.x ICS。但是距離 Android 主要版本 2.3.x Gingerbread 的市佔還有一段距離。

Google 最新公布的 Android 市佔資料，最新的 Android 4.2.X Jelly Bean 成長了 3.4% ，市佔達 28.4%，而 Ice Cream Sandwich 則下滑 1.8%，市佔為 27.5%。Jelly Bean 終於在推出近一年時，追上 ICS 的市佔，不過離 Android 主要版本 2.3.x Gingerbread 的市佔還有一段距離。

Android 2.3.x Gingerbread 在這一次的統計期間中，下滑了 1.7%，目前市佔為 38.5%。以 Jelly Bean 的成長速度來看，想要看到 Jelly Bean 成為主要 Android 版本還要一陣子，屆時可能又有更新的 Android 版本出現。

由於各 OEM 廠導入 Jelly Bean 的速度不如預期，因此已經傳出 Google 將推遲 Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie 的推出，而會在本屆 Google I/O 中，推出 Android 4.3，代號仍為 Jelly Bean，由於和 Android 4.x 相比改變幅度不大，藉以讓 OEM 廠商可以趕上 Android 推出的速度。
