長大之後，開始學國語或台語的人，當某一詞或是句子講不出來、又急得要命的時候，會冒出英文來...。

這是新舞臺館長辜懷群的發現，她發現很多小時候是說國語，長大之後才開始學習台語的人，在說台語，說著、說著，說不出某個語句的時候，不是回過頭說國語，而是冒出英文來，反之亦然。

所以，她覺得，人的大腦，會把長大後學的語言，自動歸類為是「外國語」，即使是同屬一國的國語與台語。
