辜汪會談20年，馬英九總統表示，辜汪會談最重要的意義，在開啟的兩岸新關係，以談判化解敵意，以協商取代對抗。政府推動大陸政策與兩岸關係，一定是在中華民國憲法的架構下，秉持以台灣為主，對人民有利的原則，不論在國內或國外，都不會推動兩個中國、一中一台、或台灣獨立。
