救經濟 印度利率連3降

印度中央銀行連續3次例會決定調降利率以重振經濟。印度是今年主要新興國當中唯一調降借貸成本的國家，今天將這項舉措延續下去。

印度央行印度儲備銀行（Reserve Bank of India）總裁蘇巴拉奧（Duvvuri Subbarao）今天表示，將附買回利率從7.50%降低到7.25%。彭博社訪查40位分析師中，有33位分析師準確預測印度央行降息1碼，1位分析師預估降至7%，其餘則預測按兵不動。印度央行1、3月分別下調1碼。

印度創下10年來最弱經濟擴張率，導致3月躉售物價締造40個月來最慢增速後，蘇巴拉奧即加強刺激投資與消費的力道。在此同時，印度央行指出，經常帳赤字創新高及消費者物價通膨超過10%，都是限縮進一步政策鬆綁空間的風險因素。

孟買Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.經濟師潘恩（Indranil Pan）說：「受制於居高的零售通膨與經常帳赤字，印度央行能做的只有小幅下調利率。降息不是解決成長問題的答案。經濟成長的動力必須來自政府減少浪費性的支出，以及改善基礎設施的瓶頸。」
