天安門衝撞事件牽連？新疆軍區司令被拔黨職

【大陸中心／綜合外電報導】中國當局將天安門汽車衝撞事件定位為恐怖攻擊後，中國《新疆日報》昨稱新疆軍區司令彭勇卸下自治區黨委政委職務，由新疆軍區政委劉雷接替，引發外界聯想。

為控制鎮壓新疆，新疆軍區司令通常掌握大權，並肩負「反恐維穩」任務，外傳彭去職與天安門衝撞事件有關，雖未獲證實，但他確實被取消黨職。英國廣播公司（BBC）稱，擔負反恐任務的新疆軍區恐怕要負擔反恐不力的責任。
