NBA／哈登出馬 力爭魔獸

休士頓火箭全面啟動網羅「魔獸」哈沃德(Dwight Howard)方案，哈登(James Harden)出馬打電話當說客，魔獸的師父，前火箭傳奇中鋒歐拉朱萬(Hakeem Olajuwon)敲邊鼓，加上哈沃德對湖人現況的不滿，火箭得到魔獸機會不小。

休士頓媒體引用消息來源指出，哈沃德過去一年在湖人並不快樂，湖人教練丹東尼(Mike D'Antoni)留任，更不是哈沃德想要的結果，湖人現在所有一切都讓哈沃德猶豫不決。

火箭可提供哈沃德想要的一切，除了湖人之外最大合約，成為火箭一哥，擔任火箭內線攻防軸心，同時成為火箭進攻第一選擇，因此哈登出馬遊說，以及火箭年輕富有潛力的特質，都對哈沃德很有吸引力。

另有小道消息透露，透過歐拉朱萬安排，哈沃德已和火箭教練麥克海爾(Kevin McHale)見面，火箭已為得到哈沃德投入大量工作。
