第一球開轟魔人 小王子敲逆轉三分砲

碰上小王子Prince Fielder，請小心第一球！雙城、老虎三連戰第一場6局下，Mike Pelfrey面對Fielder的第一球，就被轟成逆轉三分砲，老虎隊因此以4比3贏球，拿下4連勝。

Fielder生涯共敲266發紅不讓，其中52轟是逮住第一球。這支反方向三分砲，把前5局威風八面的Pelfrey打成敗投。「那一球我投得不好，Fielder馬上讓我付出代價，」Pelfrey說，「我原本期望他打出滾地球，但一記偏高的伸卡球，被身強體壯的小王子逮中。」

「我轉過身，只盼球擊中全壘打牆，而不是飛過去。」Pelfrey的心願沒有成真，情勢就此逆轉。他投5又1/3局失4分，吞下本季第3敗。

小王子的逆轉三分砲，力挺Mark Scherzer拿下開幕3連勝。這位老虎隊先發投手投7又1/3局，被敲6安、失3分，送出10次三振。這場比賽之前，雙城全隊只吞150K，大聯盟第2好，可見Scherzer的三振能力。

其實Scherzer前4局就掉3分，但漸入佳境，7局上投出3連K，又K掉8局上第一位打者，在老虎隊球迷歡呼聲中退場。

「當我們取得領先後，我不能讓對方再拿分，」Scherzer的勝投感言，「兩好球後，我靠變速球拿到三振，那是我的致命武器。」

Scherzer退場後，Drew Smyly接手結束第8局，並抓到第9局的前兩個出局，再由Joaquin Benoit解決最後一人，獲得本季第2次救援成功。

老虎隊戰績來到14勝10敗，站上美聯中區第一，領先皇家隊0.5場。雙城隊戰績11勝11敗，依舊是美聯中區第3，落後老虎隊2場。
