雨季來 高路總局啟動防汛應變

梅雨季即將來臨，全台公路也將面臨考驗，公路總局日前特別召開防汛整備檢會議，局長吳盟分指出，台灣山區公路在雨季常因累積雨量造成坍方中斷，在降雨初期就必須提早處置應變。吳盟分也提醒第一線工程人員，在搶救災害時，要以自身安全為第一考量。

公路總局表示，去年度共監控三十場、一千五百九十五小時的天氣事件，其中共有泰利、蘇拉及天秤颱風等三次颱風及三次強降雨侵台，劇烈天氣超過五百五十小時，災害前共執行預警性封閉道路二百三十次，有一百三十九次封閉道路後發生災害，值得慶幸的是全年度沒有用路人因道路災害傷亡。（圖：防汛會議 公路總局提供）
