混合H5N1、H1N1　陸製新病毒國際不安

中國農科院哈爾濱獸醫研究所國家禽流感參考實驗室主任陳化蘭，領導研究團隊將H1N1新流感病毒與H5N1禽流感病毒混成新病毒，製造出可透過空氣傳染、哺乳類動物間相互傳染的新病毒株。陳化蘭雖稱此研究有助於疾病控制，但國際學者擔心若病毒流出實驗室，可能將嚴重引爆新疫情。

中央社引述法國巴斯德研究所（Pasteur Institute）病毒學教授魏恩賀伯森（Simon Wain-Hobson）說法，提醒世人口蹄疫病毒從實驗室外洩，造成英國6年前爆發疫情，目前「人造病毒」雖放在冷凍櫃內，但卻是可能會造成大流行的病毒，若有外洩，可能會有人類感染，「導致10萬至100萬人喪生。」
